Great Christmas card Dan, I felt like I was at a Christmas party, the voices gave a great warm and inviting ambiance. I also liked how you scaled the size of each of the little characters... it reminds me of weaving in and out of a busy Christmas party and seeing tons of friends and family.

I appreciate Webster's efforts in creating a dictionary and all, but I also think that word invention is great on a more venacular level. It expands your ability to express yourself in a unique and maybe even more accurate way. If you listen to/ read current media it sounds like we're speaking from a limited list of expressions. It's like we all have a bad case of linguisticalpolyclicheism.

I am surprised about the media attention for e Ink with the Kindle electronic book, because it is just black and white and lacks dynamics. I' rather see OLEDs used for that purpose. Think about the newspapers in the Harry Potter movies, where the pictures are actually moving. What about books with several pages each with a combination of text and moving pictures, maybe with added sounds.

I agree, I went through this reflection a couple of weeks ago and I got to the same conclusion. I have had some good ideas in the past that I haven't build because I just forgot of them.

the last time i checked the only thing that's holding OLEDs back is the fact that the "light" dies pretty quickly. You would have to buy a TV each year. =S
Is there some cheap OLED out there that one can buy and maybe experiment with?

Dan,
I have observed that many seniors in particular have developed the habit of walking through their daily activities by speaking their actions as they do them.
It does appear that this aids memory and helps retain focus from being lost.

I could really have used one of these on my trip for my little digital camera. Maybe a miniature umbrella for all your hand held electronics?
